It was snowing this morning! In the middle of fucking October! Last week we had 28 C and now this. I want a proper autumn for once. Not four days and then straight off to winter.
Well, at least I've got the cat on the bed with me to keep me warm. :D

It feels like all I do here is whining. So instead of all the 'woe is me' posts that I could make, I'll post a list of happy making stuff:
- my car has winter tires
- I bought the first Xmas presents for my mum
- Merlin! Isn't it awesome? I watched the newest ep this morning in bed, with a cup of coffee and a kitty curled up beside me :D
- Glee! I've only seen the first two eps, but Singing! Dancing! I love it!
- Books! I've read 50 books so far this year. First time I managed that. The year isn't over yet and I'll at least finish three more.
- Two weeks until the next vacation!

Success! After I don't even know how many failed attempts at downloading and installing a firewall that actually works. Whee! I can't say that I did anything different this time, but for whatever reason it's working now. Hopefully the next update won't cause the same problem again. Also, WTF Comodo and Zone Alarm? Why don't you like Firefox?
Also, the VCR killed the tape with the Oscars on it. I had to watch a stupid and much shorter re-run. Grr.
I had the afternoon off because of Carnival Tuesday. I spent it fighting with the VCR and the laptop. I didn't do anything fun, because all my friends here are lame. It seems I'm grumpy this week.

I promised myself I would update more regularly this year, but so far I'm not very good at keeping that promise. Every time I want to post I don't have the laptop with me, but on the weekends where I can update I'm too lethargic to do it and/or I've forgotten what I wanted to post. Life is hard.
Also pretty boring. The most exciting thing I did is, I got a haircut last week. She chopped off about 30cm. My head feels so much lighter now! There are no knots anymore! The conditioner lasts much longer! \o/
It continues to snow every day which is annoying. Last week I needed twice the time to get home from work, because the higway was completely snowed in.
The new car is still awesome. Ski-jumping, Snooker, Bandom blogs and twitters make me happy.
I read a story yesterday that I saved to the HD a while ago. It was okay until the last part, where someone's pet died. I clicked the window shut, deleted the fic and shut off the laptop. Then I cried for an hour. And cuddled my cat. I can read character-death fic with no problem, but apparently there should be header warnings for dying fictional animals. :(
That post took me an embarrasingly long time to write. Anyway, happy Sunday flist!

- After six days of being too sick I can *finally* look at the comp for longer than five minutes. \o/ I'm
hoping pretty sure the fever and shivering wasn't caused by internet-withdrawal. *clings*
- My mum is still sick, but feeling better today. Our house turned into a hospital.
- I forgot how much crap there's on tv. Also, naps are fun. Waking up every hour at night, is not.
- I've seen all eps of Merlin!
- I drove my car exactly one time since I got it and that was to the doctor. :(
- It snowed pretty much all the time I this week, so I'm kind of glad I didn't have to drive to work.
I think I'm gonna lie down again. Hi! *waves*

I have a new car. Well, it's four years old, but new to me. It's a Kia Cerato and I love it to itty-bitty pieces. Also, I'm not entirely broke. Yay!
But it seems that I can't have anything nice without things also sucking big-time.
My neighbours' dog, who was kind of my dog as well, was put to sleep today. He was old, half-blind and half-deaf and was probably in pain, so it really was the humane thing to do. But still. I've known him since he was a few weeks old. I want him back. I'll miss you, Leo.
Also, I'm getting a cold. Sometimes life really sucks.

Wrapped all presents, baked the cookies, decorated the house and bought a tree. I'm off work next week and then I only have to work two days and have another week off. Whee!
I've just watched ski-jumping on tv, I have coffee and a cat on my lap. If it would stop raining and start snowing again, everything would be perfect.

I will never ever eat anything again in my whole life. It's so sad. I stood in the kitchen for I don't know how many hours and then I couldn't even eat the pumpkin pie. :( Seriously, I'm so full right now. But it was good. Especially the modified vegan PETA nut roast (with TVP instead of cashews).
In other news, I was in Munich on Tuesday. Did buy an awesome hoodie and went to Starbucks. Twice! *g* If they'd just open one here, I wouldn't be so crazy about their coffee. At least I'd like to think so.
Oh god, I can't move. I'm just gonna lie here on the couch for the next year. I've had to open the topmost button of my jeans, but I still feel like I'm going to explode any minute.
The pie still looks delicious. Help.

It's snowing, the wind is more like a storm and it's really, really cold. It smells fantastic outside, but I'm sooooo glad I don't have to be anywhere this weekend. :D

Only four more days of work and then I'm on vacation! Yay! No clients for three weeks! :D
I definitely need the time off. Work has been insane this last weeks. I'm always tired and not doing much on the weekends besides watching tv. Couldn't even take the laptop with me to work, so I'm behind on my flist and reading. It feels like I'm always saying that.
Anyway, today seems to be a more relaxed day client-wise, so hopefully I can do a little catching up.

I'm tired and grumpy and supposed to do actual work today. Clients are showing up without an appointment and the phone doesn't stop ringing. I can't reach the people I need to schedule things with. Everything sucks. Nobody's making me coffee.

I dreamt about coffee tonight. A Starbucks venti caramel latte. Then I remembered that we don't have Starbucks here. I woke up thinking about driving two and half hours up to Munich and about ways to take more than just one cup with me back home. I'm at work now, with mediocre coffee and still cranky.
Also, this weekend the neighbour's cat killed and ate a mouse (and left us the intestines - very nice), then flopped on a chair and didn't move for hours.
It's been insanely hot this weekend and today seems to be going the same way. I wanna go swimming instead of sitting here. :(
I'm bored.
